EMCALC 2000 Known Issues

This page lists the known software bugs in EMCALC 2000. Where appropriate, a work around is listed for each bug. The more serious bugs will always be corrected in the next release of the software. If you spot a bug in the software and can reproduce it, then contact the technical support team by sending e-mail to support@enertech.net or by calling 408-866-7266 and asking for EMCALC 2000 technical support.

 

 Chart Click bug
Problem: If you right click on a chart to bring up the Properties dialog box, then you must click twice to activate any other window in EMCALC 2000.
Solution: No solution at this time.

 

EMDEX LITE launch bug
Problem: If you use EMCALC 2000 to change the meter parameters on an EMDEX LITE, then you will not be able to download the data using any previous versions of EMCALC. This is due to an initialization problem with one of the LITE headers.
Solution: After changing the meter parameters, turn the meter off, then back on before collecting data. This will initialize the headers properly so that EMCALC 95 can download and read the data.
Note: If you do not plan to use EMCALC 95, then this will not be an issue for you.
