“KILL A WATT” Electricity Usage Monitor

The “Kill A Watt” meter is designed to measure the electrical use of appliances. By plugging an appliance into the "Kill A Watt” meter, the LCD will display the amount of power consumption that the appliance uses in kilowatt-hours (KWH). The meter’s LCD will also display cumulative kilowatt-hours. In addition, the meter can measure and display current/load use in Amps (A) and power use in Watts (Watt), as well as elapsed time.

You can also check power quality factors by monitoring other parameters, such as line frequency in Hertz (Hz), line voltage in volts (V), volt amps (VA) and power factor (PF).

EMDEX II and EMDEX LITE Environmental Protection Cases

These dustproof and water-resistant cases allow the EMDEX meters to be placed in outdoor environments while maintaining protection of the meters against the elements. Meters placed within these cases can be buried outdoors, even in rainy weather conditions, and be protected from moisture, dirt, and dust during magnetic field monitoring and recording sessions. These cases have been tested and do not affect the EMDEX magnetic field readings during use.

These cases have an easy open latch, automatic pressure purge valve (to balance interior pressure), rubber liner (o-ring seal) and water-resistant, stainless steel hardware, dust proof and crush resistant.

The EMDEX II environmental case comes with a foam insert to cushion the meter and prevent the meter from movement within the case. The EMDEX LITE environmental case perfectly houses the meter to prevent movement.
